The May 21, 2013 Tax Levy would have resulted in an average
property tax increase of about 25 percent.
The current proposed Tax Levy will result in an average
property tax increase of about 17 percent.
Curry County Order No. 13895 dated August 14, 2013 placing this three-year law enforcement tax levy before the voters Nov. 5, 2013 was approved less than 3 months after defeat of the Tax Levy May 21, 2013.
